Something I really like in Chinese parks
By On Travel
One of the things I really like in China, especially in small (or let's say "smaller" as "small" is very relative when talking about Chinese cities...) towns is this habit people have kept, I mean dancing in public parks. I am not speaking here about daily exercises that many people - especially old people - keep practicing, like tai-chi, but about people gathering early evening and dancing. They bring their own music and everybody dance with everybody: young people with old people, girls with men, girls with girls, men with men... It is not about dating, just about dancing. That's great and very relaxing ! |
